Nursery Practitioner Vacancies 

​

Positions of varying hours available and will be discussed with prospective candidates upon application or interview.  â€‹

​

Positions will be based in our childcare settings at either Two Little Dickie Birds or St Paul's Pre-School - both located within the grounds of Ss Peter and Paul's Catholic Academy, Cramlington, NE23 6DB.

​

Our provision is purpose built, safe and exciting for children. All of our settings have access to secure outdoor areas to further promote learning.

​

Salary for qualified candidates is £10 per hour.

​

Essential criteria:

-A positive attitude and commitment to deliver excellent education and care to every child, every day

​

-Enthusiastic and committed to parental partnerships and able to forge strong relationships with other staff members.

​

-A minimum Level 3 qualification or above

​

-A good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Ofsted guidance

​

-Experience within a childcare setting (ideally 2 years)

​

-A working knowledge of safeguarding, children protection and keeping children safe in education.

​

-The ability to work shift patterns between the hours of 7.15am and 6pm Monday to Friday

​

- The ability to attend staff meetings or training, sometimes outside of these working hours.
